ABOUT PROJECT
The Neighbors website tells about common problems and unique experience of the inhabitants of the Balkans, the Caucasus and the countries of Eastern Europe. More than 50 teams of professional journalists work on project publications that cover a wide range of socially important topics.
From our multimedia stories you can learn about the preservation of historical buildings and the fight against drugs, professional migration and the conservation of wildlife, the fight against corruption and the development of tourism, as well as the quality of tap water, eco-farming, a common history and other noteworthy issues.
For the best and comprehensive coverage of the topics mentioned, project publications use and combine modern multimedia tools. On the website you can review maps and infographics, watch videos and read texts combined with photos and other illustrative materials. Published stories were produced within the framework of the project “Strengthening Independent Media in Europe and Eurasia” implemented in Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Ukraine.
