ABOUT PROJECT

The “Neighbors” website – is a joint project of Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova giving multimedia glance to the everyday life of people in these countries. United by borders all three of them are facing quite similar challenges in business, everyday life or urban development. From secrets of wine to the swamp of oligarchy – follow these stories with the journalists from Moldova, Ukraine and Georgia to see how their neighbors are dealing with similar challenges.

You are welcome to see video, audio, read written materials, infographics, interactive maps, and other multimedia tools to learn more about these unique neighboring countries.

The website is developed within the cross-border project “The Strengthening Independent Media in Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine”. “Neighbors” is aimed to support for joint content production by media partners in Moldova, Ukraine, and Georgia, as well as the contextualizing and bundling of national content into multimedia packages that concern issues relevant to audiences in all three countries.

Nino Vardzelashvili,  Giorgi Parkosadze and  Tamta Tvalavadze is an   independent journalists  group   based in Tbilisi, Georgia. Vardzelashvili  is an  experienced news  journalist  at  Georgia’s leading TV broadcasting Company “ RUSTAVI 2”. Parkosadze is  a freelance photographer and filmmaker.
